How many Mixue stores are there in Malaysia?
This simple analysis involves visualizing the total number of Mixue stores by district and state in Malaysia.
Methodology
To obtain the list of Mixue stores, we extracted the data using the Google Maps API. With the available coordinates, we geolocated the stores using map data to determine the district and state information in Malaysia. The data was extracted on February 21, 2025.
- We then categorized the total number of stores into the following groups:
- No stores
- 1-10 stores
- 11-20 stores
- 21-40 stores
- 41-60 stores
- More than 60 stores
Analysis
District
- As of now, no Mixue stores have opened in East Malaysia
- W.P. Kuala Lumpur currently has more than 60 Mixue stores.
- Most districts in the East Coast region have yet to have Mixue stores.
State
- Selangor is currently leading with 141 Mixue stores, followed by W.P. Kuala Lumpur.
- As of now, there are no Mixue stores in Kelantan and Terengganu in Peninsular Malaysia.
