Zus Coffee’s New Ube Drink Series: What It Means for Prices
MALAYSIA – Zus Coffee has just introduced its new Ube Drink Series. This is a good opportunity to take a look at the chain’s pricing in general.

Drinks Under RM10
A closer look indicates that you can still get essential coffees, teas, refreshers, and some flavored americanos and lattes for under RM10. In general, there are five categories of drinks where you can still find drinks priced under RM10.
Essential Coffees: Espresso, Americano and CEO Latte
Teas: Examples include Limau-nade Black Tea and White Peach Limau-nade Tea
Refreshers: Pink Lemonade, Asam Boi, Asam Boi White Peach and Lychee Strawberry Coolers. All of these drinks are priced under RM10
Flavoured Americanos: Pomelo, Orange, Strawberry & Mango Americanos, all priced at RM8.9
Flavoured Latte: There is one drink priced at RM9.90: Coconut Latte
The Typical Price per Category
Looking at the median price gives a better picture of what a drink usually costs in each category.
- Teas, flavoured americanos & refreshers sit on the most affordable end.
- Essential coffees, non-coffee lattes, ube series (new series) & flavoured lattes occupy the middle ground.
- Matcha series, Chocolates & Frappes dominate the premium tier.
For example, tea prices range from RM 5.9 to RM 11.2, with a median of RM 6.9. On the other hand, frappes often start above RM 13.
The Ube Drink Series enters nicely in the medium tier, just above the affordable range. Prices start at RM 10.2 for the Iced Ube Latte, followed by the Iced Ube Cafe Latte at RM 11.2 and the Iced Ube Chocolate at RM 12.2. At the top end, the Ube Tiramisu Frappe reaches RM 15.2
